Unable to complete a task dream...what does it mean?

The last couple of nights I've had a dream, slightly different each night, in which I work and try but can't finish a task that's normally not difficult. Last night I was eating lunch in the dream and just couldn't finish. I was rushing through the meal to the point of feeling ill to try and join the others who were done eating and leaving for something. I've been called a slow eater before by family but it's never bothered me ('cause it's true). So that was odd. I don't really remember much of anything significant about the first dream other than the vague feeling of similarity--also unable to complete a task. Anyone have any idea what this kind of dream is supposed to mean?

For some odd reason I can't seem to find a style, or any clothes I like anywhere. I have searched everywhere. All of the modern day clothes designs seem to be too exposing, or look like torn rags. Hello my name is Julio and I'm wanting to get a dog. My brother is going to be moving to college next year and my parents will be working during the weekdays, so i will be lonely after school. CBT is the most effective proven therapy for anxiety and depression. In some cases, CBT has been shown to be just as effective as meds in helping people! Don't give up your meds though, you have a better chance of managing your mood disorder if you take meds with a combination of therapy and Psych education. I have had good results with CBT myself. As with anything you do, the more effort and work you put into it, the more you will get out of it. As you start examining your thought processes, you'll start to get a bearing on how your thinking can effect your moods. You may have just recited my life exactly! My dad got transferred to out of the country (from USA to greenland) and i have no clue what to do! He never comes home and my mom used to be a teacher but now she has to work in a factory! I have 3 jobs to try to keep a steady in come and i cant relate to anyone here cause its a different culture! How do i get better at running?

I can run for short periods but not for a long period of time. I get really exhausted really fast. This question really hits home for me. Im 5'11 and I was 188. In March I started cutting back on what I eat. This was the hardest part, I am still trying my hardest to eat right and less. So first thing is first, eat smaller portions. This did not help me but many people prefer to just put the food on your plate, and leave it in the kitchen instead of having it on the table so it is not THERE. Just there. For you to pick at. It takes a while to get in the swing of things but thats a major step. Secondly, joined my local YMCA. I do 30 minutes of the cross country(kind of like a stair climber) machine. Then, I do 30 minutes of mild weight lifting, just the machines, no dumbbells. After that, go back for another half an hour of the stair climber. I did this since March ( ive been sick/broke my foot for all of june so i have not been able to work out). I have not gained one pound since this started. And I made a proud weight of 151. I made myself very happy. And being at the age of 14, things change and love gets involved and you just want to look your best. Hope I helped.

Help my mom dosent ever let up?

she makes me watch my 2 month old baby sister pretty much 6:30 am till atleast 9:00 pm (usually later) pretty much she works some days 6:30 am till noon (some weekdays that is) then 5:00pm till 9:00pm (mon thru thrs) my baby sister is very very fussy and loves to scream (usually cuz she has gas and her belly hurts)((yes we use milicon idk how to spell it drops) while watching the screaming baby im expected to clean while my step dad sleeps (anytime he isnt working) and my brother (12 yrs old)plays video games then i am screamed at for anything not perfect or not finished or not done fast enough and i never get a thank you on top of that my brother makes messes one after another leaving plates and food and toys and things around the house that im expected to clean up further more he has ocd and add so he is incredibly irritating on top of it all i have a dog and 2 cats the dog sheds so bad that there is clumps of fur all over if i dont vaccume daily and cats who crap all over the basement we have flies (bad) which i am trying hard to get rid of and all of this is too much this is supposed to be my summer VACATION all my friends are mad at me because i NEVER get to see them i just dont know what to do anymore (im 16 going to be 17 november 1st)

Today I heard my two dogs barking so I went to see what they were barking at. There was a loose dog in my yard so I went out to see if I could catch it. It started running away towards the road so I ran as fast as I could to get ahead of it to scare it back towards the woods because I live on a busy road. My plan worked and it ran to the side of my house and started sniffing something with its back turned to me. I walked towards it and was clapping and talking to it so it would know I was there. I got really close and it turned around, barked at me and ran away. I think it was friendly but I couldn't really tell. It's bark was not a mean bark. I figured that if I saw it again I would just make sure it didn't go into the road. But my question is do you think it was deaf? It acted like I silently walked up behind it and tried to scare it. It was kind of funny but odd at the same time.

Do you think this is a fair way for my mom to make me spend my summer?

So, I'm a fourteen year old girl (I will be a freshman in the fall) and I am staying home all day every day to watch my younger brother. My parents divorced at the beginning of this year and my mom got a full time job. Now, she's out of the house from 7 'til 6 and it's my responsibility to watch my 11 year old brother. Honestly, at 11 years old, I'd figure he's okay to stay home alone for a few hours while I go out with my friends or something. However, I'm never allowed to go out. This includes when my brother goes out with his friends. My mom says I need to stay home in case something happens and he has to come home. She wont let me join my school tennis team, which I had been training for all year, in August because practice is four hours a day every weekday for two weeks before school. I think this is unreasonable because I have rides etc but she thinks my brother is incapable of staying home alone at this age (she would leave me home alone for hours at a time when I was younger than him, and my brother is not at all destructive or anything that should cause her to worry). Even leaving him alone for a half an hour stresses her out. Is there anything I can do to convince her to let me go out with my friends and not spend my entire summer locked up in the house? Why are my parents so hard on me?!?

So, I am 17 years old and I have been dating this guy for the past 6 months. The past couple months we've been hanging out with each other everyday and have become more like bestfriends than anything. Well all of a sudden my parents are trying to tell me i can only see him one day a week, and i know they're wrong, i just dont know what to do or say to help them understand where im coming from. I have been finding more and more people in the age group 23-28 who have odd stomach issues. Can only eat certain foods without getting nauseas or having severe cramps or diarrhea issues. the electronic reader is just a timer it really doesn't check the level or actual condition of the oil, every time you change your oil you suppose to reset it, the correct oil is 5w-30 and 10w-40 wont hurt it the only problem is that it will work harder therefore burning more gas. Why would my apartment smell like fennel when we've never had fennel?

This odd smell tends to be more prominent at night and only appears in one specific area of our apartment. This area would be behind our couch which is against an outside wall with a baseboard heater. of course I've moved the couch and have not found anything behind or underneath it. Will disconnecting the battery to shut off the check engine light affect anything else?

I currently have a 2008 Impala and as the question suggests I have a check engine light on. In the past if I had this problem I would do the old unhook the battery trick but this is a much newer car than I've ever had and it's like driving a computer with an exhaust pipe. I often go into a dream state then wake up but realise I'm not as I can't move, during this time I'm in my own surroundings but I can hear voices or music or see something odd in it. I always try to escape the dream by shaking my head and closing my eyes, even if I am paralysed. I always remember them very clearly. Here are some examples: I was in a normal dream in my school building, it was very foggy and at night time. I remember walking round a corner and thinking please dont let anyone be round that corner and then a giant ghost like man came stomping round the corner following me and I woke up. I was in my own surroundings and couldnt move, I then heard screaming and swearing at me, I tried shaking my head to get out of it and a few minutes later I woke up. A recent one I had was I was in my own surroundings again but I could see my mum standing and staring at me, it was slightly blurry and i couldn't see mum clearly. I even remember one when I was 5! I was in my own surroundings again and this lion toy on my floor grew bigger and turned alive, an Angel then turned it back to original state, I woke up and the lion toy was on the floor. Another one I had was I was in my own surroundings and I could hear creepy noises, I peeked from the covers and saw the grim reaper getting closer and closer as I looked, I then woke up. What telescope should i buy?

Im getting ready to buy my frist scope and im confused on what i should really get. I am a 13 year old female, and so you know what you are answering, I have pretty much an adult maturity level. I can definately be trusted by others who know me. I am a straight A+ student for the most part and consider myself very respectful and thoughtful. I have been doing research for a past 2 years now into care and possible problems, how to fix them and how to prevent them.I want this not to be popular or follow a trend, not for attention, not even really for expression( how can you really express feelings by a hole in your body? Tattoos, maybe but not this) This is what I want purely for aesthetic reasons. I know my tastes may change, but if they do I can take the piercings out. The same principle applies to jobs, careers, etc. I feel like scars won't matter because they will remind me of more fun, more youthful times in my life when I could do things like this. I also feel that no matter what, I will be comfortable in my skin. To give you a clue about my personality, I am the shy, semi anti-social type with somewhat odd, contradictory interests that doesn't give a hoot about it when people judge me, but I still try to stay respectful and not judge other people or be rude to them. Confidence is key. I would also, however, like to understand reasons why people would say no to a peircing. 'You're too young" is much too vague, IMO. I don't believe that it could be said that a person my age can't make their own decisions, either, because obviously they could make the decision that they wanted the piercing and are willing to endure that pain to get it. If the reason they want it is vain and impulsive, I get that some people would disagree with it. But why do so many people say no, even when it is evident that much thought has been put into a decision? Though piercings, especially facial ones, were not mainstream in the '60, '70, '80's per se, they are now. Please answer this question by RESPECTFULLY stating your opinions as clearly as possible. My sister and I are twins and got asked if we could babysit our neighbors three kids next year. Why is there no more digital dashboards and gauges on cars nowadays?

Most dashboards now ARE electronic, it's just that the displays are analog. Analog gauges are MUCH easier to read at a glance, and do a much better job of putting information in perspective, that's why they are preferred. A gauge with the needle in a normal zone can be interpreted much more quickly by the average person than a readout that says "40" or "14.2", because you don't have to know what range that particular value is supposed to be in, you just know it's OK. You may think a digital display is cool, but the average person finds them confusing, and they draw your eye off the road for too much time to interpret them. They are also more expensive to make, and impossible to fix if one segment or digit fails.

What's wrong with my Facebook account?

This problem occurred today, and yesterday. I logged into facebook, like I normally do, and I tried to open my chat window. It didn't open all the way, it just froze, so I reloaded the page and tried the same thing again, and nothing. And it's not that no one was online, because it said on the bar "Chat (47)." And even when I looked to the left side, I didn't my friends' pictures like I usually do. So I thought that was odd. So then I tried to click the notification picture to view my notifications. It did the same thing! It FROZE! And I did the same thing again, I reloaded the page, and it happened again. So then I tried to scroll down my news feed, and usually when I scroll down my news feed, it runs down smoothly, but this time I had to press the downward arrow. And when I pressed it guess what happened? NO, it didn't freeze, it just pushed me back up to the top of the page! And plus, it didn't even show me anymore posts! Then I tried to look at one of my friend's pictures and it froze! I don't know how this problem happened and I don't know what to do! I know facebook has been changing a little, and it might be due to that, but I am an AVID facebook-er, and I can't stand the fact that I can't check my notifications, or see what my friends are doing! So if there's anything that I can do ASAP, please, PLEASE, let me know!

How to use a projector with a computer please?

I do some "suitcase" instructional courses with a laptop and projector. Most good projectors have a VGA "in" and "out" port...you connect the laptop VGA out to the projector "in" and the projector "out" to the monitor. This allows me to watch the monitor while facing the class.(its proper etiquette not to turn your back on the class!) Some projectors have a "bypass" button so you can turn off the projector to the big screen but the monitor stays on..so you can keep the class attention while changing the presentation without them seeing a bunch of changing slides that would detract from the class. Some projectors have a "remote'' that changes the slide among other things. I use a wireless mouse on the laptop so i can use the "pointer" and not have to turn my back on the class.

Are My Self-Esteem Issues Bad Enough That I Might Need To Seek Help For It?

I'm 13 years old and have extremely low self-esteem. I constantly worry about what others think of me to the point if I even walk in a room and someone looks my way I'm afraid their criticizing me on how I look and what I do and then sit there and think of all the horrible things their probably thinking right then. If someone points out the smallest of things wrong with how I look I feel like a total moron and hide my face for the rest of the day til i can get home because I'm positive everyone else noticed it too. When I talk to people that are even somewhat-popular I get scared and panic. If I actually do something right, and someone congratulates me for it, I'm think that I did it wrong and their just trying to make me feel better. For example, in Volleyball, I sort-of spiked the ball and it got us a point and all my team mates were clapping for me. Absolutely hating the attention on me, I tried to turn the attention to the girl who had bumped it to me and ended up just getting an odd look from everyone and making me feel even worse. I'm afraid of doing something stupid or weird in front of my friends because I'm worried they'll stop wanting to hang out with me. If I tell a trusted friend a secret, I feel like a retard for the next week or so. I can't stand to wear a shirt than even comes close to hinting at stomach fat (but I don't wear very lose clothing because I think that makes me look fatter) I'm scared, I'm worried, and I'm always on an edge at school. Is it bad enough that I may need to seek help for it? I more than likely won't because it is not something I am willing to discuss with my parents (I know I'll regret it the next day and for the next month) and nor do I want to; but I was just wondering if it seems to be that bad.....

I'm not sure about this specific type of fraud, but I'm sure any company that has infamously "cooked their books" so to speak has done something similar. Enron is an infamous one, and both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have been fined hundreds of millions of dollars for accounting fraud, so I wouldn't put it past them to do something like what you're talking about. You could also look up companies that outsourced data input for Y2K; they all frantically tried to computerize data and hoped that it wouldn't be deleted at the turn of the century, so I'm sure that they hastened the process a bit too much in some cases.

Hello, I am having some odd symptoms such as sore breasts, slight period like cramps, headaches, and fatigue. I think these may be early pregnancy symptoms but I am not sure. I have been taking the birth control sprintex for two years and never had these symptoms form it. PMS usually dose not effect me in-till 3 days before my period and its a week away right now. I am worried I could be pregnant because I was nine hours late on a pill two weeks ago. I really want to know whats going on and why I am having these symptoms.... I took a test but it said negative but I was reading the back of it and it said that its only 50% accurate 5 days before the missed period but mine is 7 days away so I am not sure. I really want to know because I am afraid that if I am im hurting the baby by taking my birth control pills... I am really hoping its just all in my head but I don't know...
