Norristown train station parking?

i am taking the train into philadelphia for a concert. i am aware that the norristown train station has a parking garage, but it closes at 12:30am (weekdays) and i would be cutting it close to getting back in time to get my car from it. i also know they seem to have surface parking...is this true? and if so, can i park there and be able to fetch my car and drive home if i get back to the station around 1-1:30am?
