What is your opinion of computerized Cars? Anyone know of a computer that lasts?

Are we headed for bigger problems? I have found that computers will break down and cost more down the road because I have to replace the product rather than repair it. Now the public is buying expensive vehicles that are completely dependent upon a computer.
